Primary Aldosteronism (Conn’s syndrome) in Pregnancy: A case report.
A.Ade-Onojobi, N. Jumbo, J. Crafton, A. Wijesiriwardana

•Background:
•Primary aldosteronism (PA) is marked by the overproduction of aldosterone that occurs independently of renin, and it is often an overlooked contributor to hypertension. This condition is primarily associated with adrenal gland hyperactivity and the presence of a benign tumor in one of the glands. So far, fewer than 50 cases of primary hyperaldosteronism during pregnancy have been reported in the medical literature.
