A case series of recent Arteriovenous Malformations (AVM) and Intracranial Haemorrhage (ICH)

OBJECTIVE:

This case series explores three cases of rare AVM and ICH over the last year at our local DGH and explores their extremely varying clinical presentation, sequalae and outcomes. Though AVM and ICH in pregnancy is rare, it represents a significant proportion of maternal death and foetal mortality, making these cases in quick succession of particular interest. We aim to discuss some of the signs and symptoms of AVM and ICH in pregnancy, it’s management and considerations for treatment in pregnancy.
