Abstract:
BACKGROUND: Total arterial revascularization is the best way to treat multiple coronary artery disease. We tried to accomplish the total arterial revascularization by robotic assisted BIMA And 3D Laparoscoptic assisted RGEA harvesting.
METHODS: In this case, the bilateral internal mammary arteries were harvested by Da Vinci robot, the Right gastroepiploic artery was harvested by 3D laparoscope. About 1cm opening was made in the diaphram and the RGEA was placed inside the pericardial sac under laparoscope. After all arterial grafts were prepared, the 6-8cm incision was made at fifth intercostal space, the RIMA was anastomosed to LAD, the LIMA was anastomosed to OM, and RGEA was anastomosed to RCA
RESULTS: The patient recovered quickly and discharged 6days after surgery. The incision scar can barely be seen.
CONCLUSIONS: Minimally invasive total arterial revascularization by robotic and laparoscopic assisted arterial grafts harvesting is a good choice.
