Background
A 31-year-old patient diagnosed with hypohidrotic ectodermal dysplasia and Hodgkin Lymphoma presented to TUSDM with 12 congenitally missing teeth and unsatisfactory esthetics. Evaluation of CT scan revealed unfavorable anatomy for predictable implant placement and Digital Smile Design indicated need for crown lengthening.
Conclusion
Non implant prosthodontic treatment should still be considered when major surgical augmentation with unpredictable outcomes is the alternative, especially in patients with additional comorbidities.
