●Title:Application of GORDON 11-Items Functional Health Patterns in the care of a patient, undergoing coronary artery bypass surgery:a nursing experience.
●Introduction:A 65-year-old man, due to chest pain, and shortness of breath during exercise, cardiac catheterization found that 3 blood vessels were severely blocked. He was decided to undergo coronary artery bypass surgery.
●Method:Surgery,GORDON 11-Itms Functional Health Patterns
●Results:Acute pain、Activity Intolerance、Anxiety
●Conclusion:Pain control for post-operative patients can`t only reduce anxiety and increase physical comfort, but also improve the willingness to move and reduce the occurrence of complications. Due to the large number of caregivers and busy business in the ward, there is not enough time to discuss the psychological and social needs of the case, and the inability to continue to track the cardiopulmonary rehabilitation status after discharge is the biggest limitation and difficulty of this article. It is hoped that through this nursing experience sharing, the front-line nursing staff can take the initiative to give patients more patient listening and support, and cooperate with cross-disciplinary teamwork to help patients and their families achieve a state of physical and mental well-being, and improve the positive development of the recovery period after surgery and reintegrate into society as soon as possible.
