This poster presents a sustainable approach to dye-polluted wastewater treatment using MXene/carbon cloth electrodes for the electrochemical activation of peroxymonosulfate (PMS). The study focuses on the degradation of methylene blue as a model pollutant, optimizing parameters to enhance efficiency. By combining the high conductivity of carbon cloth with the catalytic properties of MXene, the process achieves effective advanced oxidation performance. This work highlights an eco-friendly and scalable method for water purification, directly contributing to UN Sustainable Development Goal 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation).
Keywords: MXene, Peroxymonosulfate Activation, Advanced Electrochemical Oxidation, Dye Degradation, Sustainable Wastewater Treatment.
