Pregnancy in individuals with sickle cell disease is associated with high rates of vaso-occlusive crises and significant anesthetic complexity, requiring careful multidisciplinary management. This retrospective study highlights maternal and anesthetic outcomes, demonstrating frequent neuraxial analgesia challenges and emphasizing the need for proactive planning and optimized peripartum care.
