•Hemiarch repair of aortic pathology has:
• traditionally been performed via full sternotomy
•commonly done alongside concomitant repair of more proximal aortic pathology – typically an ascending aneurysm with or without aortic root repair
•Advancements in aortic surgery have provided the opportunity to perform such surgeries through minimally invasive techniques
