Abstract
Melamine-based polyamides have recently attracted a lot of interest due to their prospective applications in corrosion-resistant composites, filtration membranes, flame-retardant materials, and high-performance coatings. Furthermore, their compatibility with sustainable and green chemical principles has created prospects for environmentally friendly materials in construction, biomedical uses, and packaging. Their potential for developing smart materials, water purification systems, and trivial synthetic polymers is still being studied. A new 1,3,5-Triaminotriazine (Melamine) based condensed polyamides was prepared from 1,3,5-Triaminotriazine and Oxalic acid (OA)/Succinic acid (SA) using acetone as a solvent and condensation polymerization in an inert atmosphere at 150°C with three different ratios. The formation of the synthesized polyamides was successfully confirmed using various analytical techniques such as UV-visible, FT-IR, NMR and SEM techniques.
