Celecoxib Prodrugs were synthesized with three different biodegradable linkers, and their structures were confirmed by various spectroscopic techniques. Prodrugs 1-3 were encapsulated into Nanoparticles via the sole addition of DSPE-PEG₂₀₀₀. Physicochemical characterization of these NPs was analyzed. Further, these NPs were subjected to in vitro studies and found active against cytokines like TNF-α, MCP-1 and IL-β. In Vivo studies reveal NPs are potent but comparatively less active than celecoxib
