International training recommendations(2) differ from the board exam(1), with a variety of assessment methods discussed(2). While near-real-time feedback on patient outcomes has proven helpful in resident training(3), no published method incorporates patient-reported block duration outcomes, rather than immediate failure(4), into training assessments. This study evaluates patient follow-up and block duration outcomes to identify residents needing additional training interventions for single bolus regional procedures.
