Alzheimer's disease is associated with oxidative stress, amyloid-β accumulation, and neuronal damage. Idebenone-loaded PLGA nanoparticles improve drug stability, brain delivery, and sustained release. They reduce oxidative stress, protect mitochondria, enhance neuronal survival, decrease amyloid burden, and improve cognitive function, highlighting a promising therapeutic strategy for Alzheimer's disease.
