We explored the acceptability and interest in self-administered digital cognitive assessments in the general public. During public involvement sessions and dementia awareness events the large majority of attendees were interested in using the digital tests as these would help them to better look after their brain health and make any necessary lifestyle choices. However, the public also wanted robust data security and data governance systems in place and provison of emotional and practical support when the tests showed any cognitive decline. They also stressed the need for clear signposting to next steps/ medical advice.
