Brief introduction

This poster compares regional tau PET positivity and tau-related longitudinal cognitive trajectories between amyloid-positive Koreans and non-Hispanic Whites. We found that regional tau PET positivity was similarly prevalent across ethnic groups once amyloid positivity was established, but A+T+ was associated with faster cognitive decline in symptomatic Koreans. These findings highlight the need to validate tau PET-based staging and prognostic models in multiethnic Alzheimer’s disease cohorts.
