Multi-platform Evaluation Of Plasma P-tau217 Double Cutoff Strategies For Cost-effective Triage Of Tau PET Positivity
Part of Topic
Video
Brief introduction
This poster evaluates whether plasma p-tau217 can predict tau PET positivity across multiple assay platforms and whether double-cutoff strategies can improve cost-effective triage for confirmatory tau PET. Across a tau-enriched K-ROAD cohort and a tau-scarce NA-ADNI cohort, plasma p-tau217 showed good discrimination for tau PET positivity. Double-cutoff approaches modestly improved classification and may help reduce misclassification-related costs by routing uncertain cases to confirmatory tau PET rather than replacing tau PET universally.
