Background: Alzheimer's disease is characterized by progressive cognitive decline associated with amyloid pathology. This study evaluated the effects of CNEURO-201 treatment on cognitive performance in female 5xFAD mice.
Methods: Behavioral assessments included Y-maze, Novel Object Location (NOL), and Morris Water Maze tests during disease progression.
Results: Untreated 5xFAD mice exhibited age-dependent cognitive deficits, whereas CNEURO-201 treatment preserved selected cognitive functions.
Conclusions: These findings support the therapeutic potential of CNEURO-201 and warrant further investigation into its mechanisms of action.
