Introduction
Radiofrequency ablation (RFA) is usually performed under ultrasonographic (US) guidance. However If a target lesion was isoechoic on gray-scale ultrasound, it would be hard to perform RFA under US-guidance.
Recently introduced contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) can demonstrate isoechoic hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) with arterial enhancement and delay washout.
