Purpose & Methods
•Lack of easy, intuitive standardized clinical facial photography
•Lack of seamless way to get a standardized photo with consistent background into the patients EMR for clinical decision making & documentation
•Partnership with Heath IT to develop a pilot app in Epic Haiku
WorkFlow
Epic Haiku is opened during the clinical encounter on the providers iPhone to acquire and upload the photo in the patients chart
Dynamic overlays toggle from red to green when the face is in correct orientation & alignment
