IMPACT OF INFUSION PARAMETERS ON CEREBROSPINAL FLUID (CSF) DYNAMICS WITH INTRATHECAL TARGETED DRUG DELIVERY

Intrathecal targeted drug delivery (TDD) therapiesprovidesustainedtreatmentforchronicpainandseverespasticitybydeliveringmedicationdirectlytothecentralnervoussystemviatheCSFusinganimplantedpump-catheterinfusionsystem.

Execute on a research strategy that includes internal and externally collaborated work to optimize research models and experimental designs and enables iterative, systematic study of parameter-effect relationships.

This research will iteratively build our overall understanding of the key infusion parameters influencing intrathecal targeted drug delivery. Ultimately this understanding is intended to assist clinicians with information to guide them in therapy optimization for patients, including reducing the time needed to achieve this outcome.
